Izzy's reaction to his outburst affection, surprised Gabe. He had been getting ready for her to slap him, so when the kiss from her came, his eyes widened in pleasurable shock. He slowly wrapped his arms back around her waist, feeling for the first time, like he was right where he was supposed to be.
"Love..." Gabe repeated the word when she broke away from him. " I think you're right." He told her after a moment. "I'm in love with you..." The words felt so perfect coming out of his mouth when they were directed toward Izzy. He hadn't felt so strongly about anything before, much less any person. Love seemed the only explanation.
With the heavy rain still pouring, creating a romantic lullaby on the windowpane, Gabe closed the small space between their lips again, forgetting about everything. His pains. His worries. Everything but Izzy's lips fitting perfectly against his. [/color] |
